Mixed Pairs and Trios Combined

Mixed Pair Ranking for the Finals:

USA1 - Rus1 - Chi - Bel2 - Bul - Blr - POR - Ltu

What a great day for Portugal. We didn't have a Senior Mixed Pair in World Championships Finals since Manuel and Ines in 2004!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO FILIPE AND MARIANA.

Finals will start at 17:00 (portuguese time) and will be broadcast on SportTv3. Live and for the first time!

UPDATE 13

Ukraine Mixed fall on the tumbling individual. It is such a dificult routine with 1 arm elements and front pick handstant to handstand.

Russian Mixed fall also on the tumbling routine.

Trio Rankibg to FINAL:
Rus - GBr1 - Bel - Ukr - (...) - they finished puting the results on the big screen.

South African Mixed was not so good as yesterday but the joy they put on the floor is somethig you can feel. Thanks Matome and Natalie for the fresh air you brought to Acro.

UPDATE 11

USA Pair was just wonderful. Style and grace. 28,050 and take the lead.

Revaz and Tatiana are next. What a decision day. Excitment and emotion till the end. They get 28,400 and will be last performing later on the Finals. What a Final it will be!!

Hungary trio is very nice. All the "new-comers" are presenting original and special elements wich only dignifies them and Acrobatics. South-African and Israel Mixed, Hungary, Spanish and Czech Trio present delightful moves and coreography.

Emotion!!! What a fantastic routine from the Belgium Mix! BEAUTIFUL!!

BUT THEY FALL ON NEEDLE. This competition is not for cardiac patients. Who will go to Finals?

Nik and Ambber fall on one arm mount. After a wonderful 1st set of elements it is so sad to watch such a premium class athletes missing on this competition.

Menno and Julie from Belgium are next!

UPDATE 7

Mixed Pair from Belarus very nice (27,366) and Ukraine Trio with the "living-dead" Combined is just 0,003 from Belgium. Superb 28,349!

Russian Trio on the floor. The usual dificul swing skills but the glamour from the past competitions - 28,450.

UPDATE 6

China Mixed Pair - WOW!! First set of elements in the Combined is mount to 1 arm handstand - push from stradle to 1 arm flag - base sits. Them layout to hands + layout to hands + double layout. And the other one arm set of skills is made with the left arm!! - 27,258 (can´t understand why...)

Belgium Trio in the floor. Watching a girll performing a great "hirundell planche" is amazing. The "T" position is great. They get 27,902 and stand behind Great-Britain.

French Pair made his Combined - 26,138.
Just before it was French Trio 2 (27,589) and now Great-Britain Trio (28,114).
But Great-Britain 2 was just perfect. The final double layout is great.
Bulgaria Mixed had 27,280.
USA Mixed 2 get 27,261. Lithuania with 26,955.

PORTUGAL IS IN THE FINAL!!

UPDATE 4

GREAT ROUTINE!!!! Hope the judges like it as much as the audience! - they get 27... something but some penalty we could not see because the score was 26,611. 16 pairs to go.

UPDATE 3

French Trio has a really nice routine. The amazing double layout with open legs is very original. The "T" position is always impressive. After falling yesterday this was a very clean Combined. - 27,804.

Another Germany Trio. Germany had 3 routines in 4. Tough for the coaches.
South African Mixed Pair 2 starting now. Portuguese will follow! Lets Rock'n'Roll.

Germany Mixed Pair opens the day - 25,170.
Portuguese Mixed is 4th in the line up for this day exercise.
Germany Trio follows.
Mixed from Kazakstan is on floor now. Very nice elements. - 26,323.

The presure is on to all competitiors!
